Synopsis
A powerful CEO puts her career and family at risk when she begins a torrid affair with her much younger intern.
Watched at the Venice Film Festival in Sala Grande with the cast
The film is exciting and audacious, with a good soundtrack and great performances by Nicole Kidman, Antonio Banderas (he has some really good moments) and Harris Dickinson.
I think the scripts start out pretty standard, but then become increasingly interesting with a final take on sexuality and women, which is really remarkable
Halina Reijin is also a skilled director who also put an incredible club scene in this film (one of the best club scenes I have ever seen in my life, it was as if she wanted the entire audience in Venice to bring out their hidden inner animal).
The film will probably be released during Christmas and I can say that she is totally right 🙂
Plus, Kidman obviously commands the entire film with a performance that I am sure will always be remembered.
